Toxic Masculinity Vs Health Masculinity

  • ​​​Learn how to identify and challenge pervasive gender stereotypes and biases

  • Define toxic masculinity and identify its harmful expressions

  • Learn approaches to confront and transform negative masculine norms

  • Establish a clear understanding of what constitutes healthy masculinity

  • Healthy masculinity within a system that reinforces patriarchal violence

Non-Violent Communication, Emotional Regulation and Stress Management

  • ​​​De-escalation techniques when engaging men who use tactics of abuse

  • ‘Calling in’ rather than calling out – how to discuss use of violence without attacking or shaming individuals

  • Work effectively with shame as it manifests in the work

  • Understanding triggers and managing anger

  • Techniques for stress reduction and emotional regulation

Bystander Intervention

SOLUTION ROOM: Collaborative Networking Session

This engaging and dynamic networking session is designed to offer peer-supported advice and innovative solutions for the challenges you face in your role. Participants will be divided into small, focused groups where everyone has the opportunity to present their challenge.

 

The group will then engage in collaborative brainstorming, leveraging the collective experience of all attendees. Together, you will share strategies that have been successful, as well as lessons learned from past attempts.

 

This session is not just about finding solutions; it’s about fostering collaboration. You'll discover new opportunities for partnership and build meaningful connections with professionals facing similar challenges.
